20 Years Making a Difference in Bulgaria
‘Light for Bulgaria’ is a charitable organisation set up by Michelle Chobanova (known as Michelle Lineros) nearly 20 years ago following the fall of Communism in Bulgaria. As the regime collapsed, many people found themselves in great need for support for survival. The first project was birthed at the regional hospital in South West Bulgaria where there were shortages of food and urgent provisions of potatoes and eggs were donated aiding many sick patients to survive. Over the years, the charity has grown and today the charity runs four main projects helping hundreds of people in need.
Today the charity has three bases in the world serving those who are in crises, emergency or live in great poverty.
